In 2012 the Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden opens a new exhibition space on the museum's ground floor: 45 cbm. As a platform for young and experimental art projects, 45cbm complements the regular exhibition program in the upper galleries of the Kunsthalle and presents exciting new work by a generation of young and emerging artists. 45 cbm opens on February 12, presenting a solo exhibition of American artist Selene States. This will be followed by exhibitons by Rachel Sussman (New York), Claudia Chaseling, BURGHARD (Berlin), Selma Alaçam and Sebastian Winkler.
