In our spring exhibition artworks of New York-based painter Elizabeth Peyton will be on display at the Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden. For this exhibition the artist has chosen to show a specific selection of works: Exclusively and for the first time ever in this combination, portraits of musicians are on view in Baden-Baden. For instance you will encounter David Bowie, Pete Doherty, Jessye Norman or Jonas Kaufmann performing on stage.

Seasonal launch of Prinzessinnengarten
Prinzessinnengarten at the Staatliche Kunsthalle / Seasonal launch
Just in time for the spring season the Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden and Prinzessinnengärten from Berlin bring some fresh green to the spa town. Together with students from high-school Hohenbaden and the Vincenti primary school, school yards are landscaped and transformed into places of mutual learning. Thus, youngsters will have the opportunity to learn that soil is not solely dirt. The kids will practically learn how to grow their own

International Museums Day

In frame of the International Museum Day we host the TALKING HEADS, young experts who will guide you through our current show. At 2 PM you can join a guided tour through our show "Here She Comes Now. Elizabeth Peyton" and from 2 to 5 PM we host "KinderKunstZeit" - a creative workshop for youngsters with Maika Maj.
