Stephen Prina

Stephen Prina’s artistic practice was marked by a multitude of facets right from the beginning of his career. He worked in various media simultaneously: He presented his work in solo shows but also collaborated with other artists. He produced films and records and also appeared in performances and gave readings. His oeuvre, which includes paintings, photography, films, objects and space installations, purposely takes up the practices of minimal art and conceptual art to critically examine and ironically question their paradigms.
